Waukesha, WI (July 8, 2026) – Multiple people were injured in a head-on crash late on Monday night, July 6, along the 3000 block of North Grandview Boulevard in Waukesha. Emergency units were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:08 p.m. after receiving reports of a serious accident.
A preliminary investigation found that two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on North Grandview Boulevard when they collided head-on. Everyone inside both vehicles was hurt and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials also confirmed that one of the drivers was taken into custody on suspicion of Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), causing injury.
The roadway remained closed for a period while emergency units worked at the scene and crews cleared the damaged vehicles. North Grandview Boulevard has since reopened to traffic. Our thoughts are with those injured as they continue to recover.
