Philadelphia, PA (February 1, 2026) – Two people were injured after a car crashed into a pole near Old York Rd, not far from the Albert Einstein Medical Center in North Philadelphia.
The incident occurred around 12:50 AM on January 31. According to dispatch audio from Medic 24, the crash resulted in trauma injuries to a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman. Both individuals were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The male victim reportedly sustained a deformity to his right arm consistent with impact trauma, while the female suffered facial injuries. Neither patient lost consciousness, and both were described as alert with stable vital signs upon transport.
Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene and provided care before taking both victims to the hospital for further evaluation. The crash involved a single vehicle colliding with a pole, though the circumstances leading up to the crash have not yet been made public.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision. No additional injuries or road closures were reported.
