Phoenix, AZ (January 14, 2026) – A serious collision involving a gray sedan and a semi-truck towing a chipper trailer occurred early Wednesday morning on Grand Avenue, leaving one person injured and causing significant traffic disruption in the area.
The incident was reported at approximately 5:52 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Grand Ave. According to early dispatch information, the sedan was left blocking traffic following the impact. The driver, who was reported to be bleeding from the head, was treated at the scene by emergency crews before being transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for further evaluation.
