Plano, TX (January 18, 2026) – Authorities responded Friday evening to a traffic crash involving injuries near the intersection of Legacy Dr and Chase Oaks Blvd in Plano.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:35 p.m. on January 17. According to dispatch reports, at least one person was injured in the crash, which involved a black Chevy Equinox blocking the left lane of westbound traffic. Plano Fire Department personnel were en route to provide medical assistance to those involved.
The full extent of the injuries has not been disclosed, but emergency crews were actively treating victims at the scene. It is unknown how many vehicles were involved or what led to the crash.
Traffic in the area experienced delays while the scene was cleared and an investigation was initiated.
