Frequently Asked Questions
Are ATV rollovers more likely on curves or turns?
Yes. ATVs have a higher center of gravity than cars and can tip when a turn is taken too fast or too sharply, especially on uneven or loose terrain.
What should someone do after an ATV crash?
Call 911, stay still if there's any chance of neck or back injury, and get checked by medical personnel even if injuries seem minor, since some, like internal injuries, aren't obvious right away.
Does wearing a helmet make a difference on an ATV?
Yes. Riders without helmets face a much higher risk of serious head injury in a rollover or ejection than those wearing one.
