Pocatello, ID (March 26, 2026) – A fatal crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger car occurred on Thursday, March 26, along Interstate 15 in Pocatello. The collision was reported shortly after 7:00 a.m. near mile marker 69, close to the East Center Street exit.
Officials said the crash involved a 2002 Nissan Altima and a commercial semi-truck. An adult man, who was driving the passenger car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash led to a full closure of the southbound lanes, including the on-ramp from Pocatello Creek Road, as emergency units worked to clear the wreckage. No additional details about other injuries have been released.
