Providence, RI (January 31, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early Friday morning to a traffic accident with reported injuries in the parking lot of a Price Rite store near Valley St in Providence.
The incident occurred around 7:13 a.m. on January 30, according to dispatch audio from Providence law enforcement. Units were dispatched to the scene after a vehicle collision was reported in the lot. At least one individual was injured and required medical attention.
Paramedics from Providence Rescue arrived quickly and began treating the injured party. The extent of injuries sustained has not been publicly confirmed, and it is not yet known whether additional individuals were involved. The area remained active as police assisted with scene control and gathered witness accounts.
