Ralls County, MO (May 20, 2026) – A 55-year-old woman from Quincy, Illinois, was injured Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 61, three miles north of New London. The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the woman was driving a northbound SUV when it struck the rear of a heavy-duty pickup truck. The truck was being driven by a 66-year-old man from Bowling Green, Missouri. After hitting the truck, the woman lost control, and the SUV overturned.
The woman received moderate injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital. The male driver was not reported hurt. Both people were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
No names were released in connection with the wreck. The cause of the crash is still being examined by investigators.
