Rancho Cucamonga, CA (January 25, 2026) – A motorcyclist was critically injured Saturday afternoon in a high-speed collision involving a dump truck on the eastbound 210 Freeway near the Interstate 15 interchange. The crash was reported at approximately 12:49 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol’s Rancho Cucamonga Office.
Initial reports from the CHP log indicate that a group of motorcycle riders was traveling at a high rate of speed when one rider on a red motorbike struck the rear of a dump truck pulling a trailer. The force of the impact caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle, landing in the middle of the freeway.
Responding medics rushed the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. No other injuries were immediately reported. The victim’s identity has not yet been made public.
The crash caused significant traffic delays in the area as CHP officers and emergency personnel worked to assist the injured and clear the scene. Authorities have not confirmed whether speed or lane-splitting behavior played a role but are continuing to investigate all circumstances surrounding the incident.
We extend our best wishes to the injured rider and hope for a full and timely recovery.
