Reading, PA (January 9, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash with entrapment was reported on January 9 at the intersection of Oley St and N 9th St in the City of Reading, prompting an urgent response from local emergency crews.
The incident occurred around 1:53 p.m. and involved two vehicles along N 9th St. According to initial reports, one male occupant was initially unresponsive and trapped following the collision. He later regained consciousness but was found bleeding from the head. Rescue personnel worked quickly to extricate the individual and provide emergency medical care on-site.
Paramedics assessed the victim and arranged for further medical treatment. The severity of the head injury has not yet been officially confirmed.
Authorities temporarily restricted traffic in the area while responders cleared the scene and began their investigation. The cause of the crash remains under review.
