Renton, WA (January 28, 2026) – A hit-and-run collision with reported injuries occurred on Tuesday afternoon on the southbound side of State Route 167 near the Interstate 405 interchange, prompting a swift emergency response in Renton.
The incident took place at approximately 1:20 p.m. and involved a single vehicle that was found stopped on the shoulder when responders arrived. According to dispatch information, the driver of the second vehicle fled the scene before emergency crews made contact.
Medical personnel provided aid to a 54-year-old woman who was experiencing back and hip pain following the crash. She received treatment at the scene, though it is unclear whether transport to a medical facility was necessary.
The scene was coordinated under the 167 Command until operations concluded. No further hazards were reported, and traffic flow was maintained with minimal disruption.
