Richmond, VA (January 21, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious motor vehicle accident with entrapment early on Tuesday morning at the intersection of Brookland Pkwy and Hermitage Rd in Richmond.
The crash was reported at approximately 1:17 a.m., prompting the dispatch of multiple units, including Engine 14, Truck 6, and Battalion 4. Upon arrival, crews located a vehicle with at least one occupant trapped inside. Firefighters initiated extrication operations to safely remove the individual.
Paramedics evaluated the injured parties on scene and transported those needing further treatment to local hospitals. Details regarding the number of vehicles involved and the extent of the injuries have not been released at this time.
