Richmond, VA (January 4, 2026) – A crash resulting in injuries occurred early Sunday morning on E Main St in downtown Richmond. The collision took place at approximately 6:43 a.m. and prompted an emergency response from Richmond Fire and EMS units. Responders provided immediate medical care to those injured and transported individuals to nearby hospitals for additional treatment.
The incident happened near the 00 block of E Main St, a stretch of roadway located in the heart of the city’s commercial and historic district. At the time of the crash, traffic was light due to the early hour, but emergency activity caused temporary disruptions in the area as crews worked to clear the scene and assist those involved.
