Hesston, KS (August 31, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was critically injured after losing control and being struck by another vehicle on North Hesston Road in the 9600 block, northwest of Hesston. The accident occurred on Saturday, August 29.
According to the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office, the injured rider was being flown by helicopter to a hospital in critical condition. Emergency responders worked at the scene while North Hesston Road was closed in the 9600 block. Drivers were asked to avoid the area while the response continued.
