Rochester, NY (August 10, 2026) – A 36-year-old Rochester man was critically injured on Saturday night when his motorcycle crashed into an SUV at North Clinton Avenue and Norton Street, according to reports from the Rochester Police Department.
Authorities responded around 11 p.m. to the intersection for the serious collision. The motorcycle was traveling west on Norton Street when it crashed into an SUV carrying three people, which had been traveling east on Norton Street when its driver attempted to turn left into a nearby gas station. The motorcycle and SUV collided near the entrance.
The motorcycle rider was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition. A 21-year-old Rochester woman who was riding in the SUV’s back seat was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
