Why Motorcycle Crashes Lead to Serious Injuries?
Motorcyclists face a greater risk of serious injury during traffic collisions because they have far less physical protection than occupants of passenger vehicles. Even at moderate speeds, riders can suffer significant injuries when thrown from their motorcycles or when striking another object.
Investigators reviewing motorcycle crashes typically examine roadway conditions, vehicle movements, witness statements, and physical evidence from the scene. Authorities may also evaluate visibility, traffic patterns, and other factors that could have contributed to the incident.
The findings from these investigations help officials determine the sequence of events and identify any circumstances that may have played a role in the crash.
