What Factors Are Reviewed After Motorcycle and Sedan Crashes?
Motorcycle crashes involving passenger vehicles can result in serious injuries because riders have less protection during an impact. The direction of travel, turning movements, and right-of-way decisions can all affect how these collisions occur.
Reviews of motorcycle crashes may include vehicle positions, roadway conditions, visibility, and driver actions before the collision. Investigators may also examine damage patterns and other scene details to better understand the events leading up to the crash. These factors can help explain how a motorcycle collision develops.
