Phoenix, AZ (July 19, 2026) – A collision involving several vehicles left multiple people injured, including one person in critical condition, after a wrong-way crash on eastbound Interstate 10 near Warner Road in the southeast Valley.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to the crash around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 17, after receiving reports of a driver traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes before the collision.
Eastbound Interstate 10 was closed while crews investigated and cleared the scene. The eastbound lanes reopened early Saturday morning, while the westbound lanes were not affected. We are thinking of those injured as they receive medical care.
