Jacksonville, FL (August 17, 2026) – A motorcyclist died after a fatal collision with an SUV on Jacksonville’s Northside. The collision occurred around 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, in the 2500 block of North Main Street.
The motorcyclist was traveling southbound on North Main Street when an SUV traveling northbound attempted to turn left into the westbound lanes of 16th Street. The turn placed the SUV in the motorcyclist’s path, resulting in a collision.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue took the motorcyclist to a local hospital, where they died shortly after arrival. The SUV driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
