RIVERSIDE, Riverside County, Calif., Sept. 25, 2026 — A multi-vehicle crash blocked a lane on northbound Interstate 215 near Martin Luther King Boulevard Wednesday afternoon, September 23, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision was first logged as a possible hit and run before being reclassified as a traffic crash with injuries.
The California Highway Patrol's initial report described a white Toyota Corolla as one of the vehicles involved, with a second white vehicle also reportedly caught up in the collision.
Radio traffic indicated the vehicles came to rest in the number 2 lane of northbound I-215, and the number 1 lane was blocked for a time as units worked the scene.
