How Stop Sign Crashes Can Lead to Serious Collisions
Crashes at intersections can happen when drivers fail to stop, misjudge traffic, or do not see another vehicle approaching. The impact can be severe when one vehicle enters an intersection and strikes another vehicle traveling through the area.
Safety at intersections depends on drivers following traffic signs, checking for other vehicles, and remaining focused as they approach crossings. Factors such as visibility, road conditions, and driver behavior may affect how these crashes happen.
