Cedar Falls, IA (August 25, 2026) – A collision between two vehicles left two people injured on Sunday afternoon, August 23, at the intersection of 3rd Street and Washington Street.
Emergency personnel were called after both vehicles became disabled. According to an official report, two people traveling in one vehicle were hurt and taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Hospital. Officials did not release details about the extent of their injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle was charged with operating while intoxicated and cited for failing to obey a stop sign. Additional charges may be possible as the crash remains under investigation.
