Rochester, NY (April 3, 2026) – One person was injured in a hit-and-run crash involving a vehicle fire early on Friday morning, April 3, in Rochester.
The crash occurred around 2:12 a.m. near North Goodman Street and Randolph Street. Authorities reported that a northbound SUV crossed the center line and struck a southbound car before the SUV driver fled the scene.
Emergency units responded and found one of the vehicles on fire. Crews worked to put out the flames while assisting the injured driver, who was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries.
No arrests have been made, and officials have not released a description of the fleeing driver. The crash remains under investigation.
