What to Do After a Car Accident in Rockwall, TX
If you're involved in a crash in Rockwall, stay as calm as possible and check yourself and any passengers for injuries before stepping out of the vehicle. If someone is trapped, don't try to move them. Wait for fire and EMS crews, who are trained to safely extricate anyone pinned inside a vehicle.
Once you're clear of the scene, seek a medical evaluation even if you feel fine. Some injuries, including those to the neck, back, or head, don't show symptoms right away. Don't forget to keep a copy of the police report and any medical records in case you need them later, and follow up with your doctor if pain or stiffness develops in the days after the crash.
