Staten Island, NY (July 24, 2026) – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident during the Thursday morning rush hour on July 23. The collision occurred on the Brooklyn-bound upper level of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.
The wreck was first reported around 7:05 a.m. Emergency units took both people to Northwell Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.
