SACRAMENTO, Sacramento County, CA, Sept. 21, 2026 — A hit-and-run crash left at least one person injured Sunday morning, September 20, at Calvine Road and Heritage Hill Drive in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The California Highway Patrol said a gray Toyota struck a maroon Honda van near the intersection. The report was initially logged as a hit-and-run with no injuries before being upgraded to a hit-and-run with injuries shortly after crews arrived, CHP records show.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene, and CHP radio traffic indicated a response was underway within minutes of the crash. The extent of the injuries has not been released.
Investigators said the occupants of the Toyota reportedly fled on foot after the crash.
