Sacramento, CA (January 7, 2026) – Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run incident that left one person injured early Monday morning near 29th St and T St in Sacramento.

The incident was reported around 4:52 a.m. on January 6 after a person flagged down an officer in the area, stating they had been struck by a dark-colored sedan approximately one hour earlier. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene without stopping, and no license plate or direction of travel was provided.

Emergency medical personnel were requested after the victim complained of injuries and needed assistance. The extent of those injuries has not yet been disclosed.

Sacramento Police are continuing to investigate the case and are seeking additional information on the suspect vehicle.
