Sacramento, CA (January 28, 2026) – A woman is in critical condition after being struck in a hit-and-run collision Monday night in South Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was discovered when a passerby found the woman lying in the roadway near the intersection of Franklin Blvd and 52nd Ave. Emergency crews from the Sacramento Fire Department responded quickly and transported the woman to a nearby hospital. Officials confirmed she suffered major injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
