San Francisco, CA (January 5, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and San Jose Avenue early Friday morning left multiple individuals injured and led to a prompt emergency response in the city’s Ingleside neighborhood.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:21 a.m., near the Balboa Park BART station, an area that sees both local and commuter traffic even during early morning hours. The vehicles involved sustained moderate to heavy damage, blocking part of the roadway and disrupting traffic flow.
Injured victims were treated by emergency medical personnel who arrived on scene shortly after the crash. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Officials have not disclosed the total number of injured parties or the severity of their conditions.
Authorities temporarily restricted access to portions of the intersection as crews cleared debris and began a formal investigation into the crash. Normal traffic resumed after a short delay.
