Santa Rosa, CA (January 28, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched Monday evening to a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Airport Blvd and Airway Dr in Santa Rosa, where at least one person was reported injured.
The crash, reported around 7:15 p.m. on January 26, involved a black SUV and a blue vehicle. Multiple 911 calls were made, prompting a swift response from local fire and medical units. One of the vehicles was reported disabled at the scene, creating a roadway hazard.
Officials confirmed the call was classified as an 11-79, indicating injuries were sustained in the crash. However, the exact number of individuals injured and the severity of those injuries have not yet been disclosed.
Crews worked to assist those involved and clear the intersection, which experienced delays as vehicles and debris were removed. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the collision, including whether speed, distraction, or failure to yield may have contributed.
