Santa Rosa, CA (January 10, 2026) – A crash involving multiple vehicles occurred Friday afternoon on northbound US-101 just north of the Airport Blvd on-ramp, sending one person to the hospital. The collision was reported at approximately 1:41 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident involved at least four vehicles, including a white Honda, black sedan, white Toyota Highlander, and a white Mercedes. Early reports indicated a solo vehicle had overturned, but further updates confirmed that multiple vehicles were affected. One white vehicle was found flipped and resting on its roof, while another had reportedly veered approximately 100 feet off the roadway.
CHP officers and medical personnel responded to the scene and coordinated treatment for the injured. A passenger sustained an ankle injury and was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for further care. No fatalities were reported, and no arrests were made at the time of the incident.
Traffic was temporarily disrupted on the northbound side of US-101 as crews worked to assess the scene, collect evidence, and remove damaged vehicles. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and contributing factors such as speed, unsafe lane changes, or impairment remain under review.
The collision remains under active investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
