Sarasota, FL (January 14, 2026) – A crash involving injuries was reported Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Ashton Rd and McIntosh Rd in Sarasota, according to officials with the Sarasota County Fire Department.

The incident occurred around 4:14 p.m., prompting units from SCFD Station 16 to respond to the scene. Emergency personnel provided medical care to those injured in the crash, and at least one person was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
