Waterbury, CT (July 24, 2026) – A scooter rider suffered serious injuries on Friday morning after being struck by a van on Falls Ave near Watertown Ave at the Waterbury-Watertown line.
The crash was reported at approximately 11:20 a.m. According to initial reports, the rider went down before being run over by a van. Emergency units treated the patient at the scene before the rider was taken to Waterbury Hospital under a trauma alert.
