Seffner, FL (January 14, 2026) – A collision on I-4 Eastbound early Wednesday morning left at least one person injured near mile marker 12 in the Seffner area of Hillsborough County.
The crash occurred around 6:56 a.m., just as the morning commute began to build. Paramedics arrived within minutes to assist those involved and provided medical care on scene. One or more individuals were transported for additional treatment due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Despite the severity of the incident, no roadblock was reported, and traffic continued moving, though at a slower pace while emergency crews were present. The crash site is located in a frequently congested stretch of I-4, just east of Tampa, where high speeds and merging traffic often contribute to collisions.
Authorities have not confirmed the number of vehicles involved, and the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation. Crews worked quickly to clear the scene and restore full traffic flow.
We extend our well wishes to those injured and hope for their full recovery.
