Houston, TX (August 24, 2026) – A deadly collision involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck in northwest Harris County claimed the life of one of the drivers. The crash happened in the 2600 block of West Mount Houston Road near Highway 249 and Veterans Memorial on Saturday, August 22.
The pickup truck driver was pronounced dead following the crash. The available report does not say whether anyone else was injured or explain how the collision occurred. West Mount Houston Road was closed in both directions while the crash was investigated.
