Le Ray Twp, MN (June 25, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of eastbound Hwy 14 and Hwy 60 in Le Ray Township on Tuesday, June 23.
According to the report, a 2008 Chevrolet Impala was traveling south on Hwy 60 and attempting to continue south onto 615th Ave. At the same time, a 2017 Volvo tractor was traveling east on Hwy 14. The two vehicles came into contact within the intersection.
The Chevrolet was driven by Zachary Joseph Hauptmann, 25, of Algona, Iowa. He was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to MCHS Mankato for treatment. The Volvo tractor was driven by Gregory James Werner, 56, of Niagara, Wisconsin, who was not hurt.
Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the wreck. The investigation into the accident is still underway as officials work to determine all contributing factors.
