Lenawee County, MI (September 2, 2026) – Two people were injured on Monday afternoon, August 31, in a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and two other vehicles at M-50 and Bramble Highway in Franklin Township.
According to the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded at approximately 3:41 p.m. Investigators said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on M-50 when it crossed the center line and struck the side of a westbound semi-truck pulling an unloaded Flo Boy trailer.
Authorities said the Silverado continued east, crossed the center line again, and collided head-on with a westbound Dodge Durango.
The 57-year-old Silverado driver was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The 38-year-old Durango driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The 35-year-old semi-truck driver was not injured.
The collision remains under investigation. We hope both injured drivers make a full recovery.
