Egelston Township, MI (August 29, 2026) – A 32-year-old man from Muskegon was seriously injured in a motorcycle collision at Apple Avenue and Mill Iron Road in Egelston Township on Thursday, August 27. The incident was reported around 9:31 p.m.
According to Michigan State Police, the man was riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 northbound on Mill Iron Road. The motorcycle turned left onto Apple Avenue and entered the path of a southbound 2019 Chevrolet Impala driven by a 19-year-old Muskegon man.
The motorcyclist was transported to Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital for treatment. The Impala driver and two passengers were not injured. Alcohol is believed to have contributed to the accident, according to the preliminary investigation.
