SHARPTOWN, Wicomico County, MD, Sept. 17, 2026 — Two people reported injuries Thursday morning, September 17, after a crash at Sharptown Road and Main Street in Sharptown, according to authorities.
Sharptown Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection around 7:54 a.m. for a motor vehicle crash with injuries, authorities said. Two patients were reported injured at the scene, though the extent of their injuries has not been released.
Maryland State Police out of the Salisbury Barrack were also sent to the scene, according to the dispatch report. Details on the number of vehicles involved and how the crash happened have not been made public.
