Shreveport, LA (January 13, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched early morning, January 12, to a reported two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Washington St and Anderson Ave in Shreveport. The incident occurred around 5:49 a.m. and involved a white vehicle and a gray vehicle.
According to initial reports, one caller indicated that a person may have been trapped inside one of the vehicles and was unable to exit. Fire and rescue personnel, including Engine 11, Medic 5, and Rescue 1, responded to the scene along with Battalion 2 to assist with potential extrication and provide medical aid.
The extent of injuries sustained in the crash has not yet been confirmed. Emergency responders worked to assess all individuals involved while managing the scene and ensuring safety for both traffic and medical operations.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by local authorities.
