Logan County, OH (August 30, 2026) – A serious single-vehicle collision on Township Road 218, east of John Street in Harrison Township, left a 17-year-old driver with life-threatening injuries early on Friday, August 28, around 4:30 a.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the teen was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala northwest on Township Rd 218 when the car left the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and embankment before overturning. The driver was taken by air ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Two passengers, ages 13 and 16, were taken by ambulance to Mary Rutan Hospital with serious injuries. The 13-year-old passenger was later flown to Dayton Children’s Hospital for additional treatment. The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Marysville Post continues to investigate the crash.
