Logan County, OH (August 30, 2026) – A serious single-vehicle collision on Township Road 218, east of John Street in Harrison Township, left a 17-year-old driver with life-threatening injuries early Friday, August 28, around 4:30 a.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the teen was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala northwest on Township Rd 218 when the car left the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and embankment before overturning. The driver was taken by air ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Two passengers, ages 13 and 16, were taken by ambulance to Mary Rutan Hospital with serious injuries. The 13-year-old passenger was later flown to Dayton Children’s Hospital for additional treatment. The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Marysville Post continues to investigate the crash. Our thoughts are with the injured teens and their families.
