Denver, NC (July 31, 2026) – Six people, including three children, were hospitalized after a car struck the outdoor seating area of Fresh Chef restaurant along Cross Center Road on Friday afternoon, according to Lincoln County officials. The wreck happened around 12:30 p.m.
Three adults and three children were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. What led up to the crash was not immediately clear. The investigation remains ongoing.
