Clinton Township, PA (August 31, 2026) –A two-vehicle accident in the 3600 block of Route 15 in Clinton Township left six people injured on Saturday afternoon, August 29, shortly after 2 p.m.
According to information from the scene, a northbound vehicle traveling in a left-turn lane swerved into the southbound lane and struck another vehicle. Tire marks reportedly showed the path of the northbound vehicle before the impact, while dashboard video captured the collision. An adult and two children in the northbound vehicle were injured.
Three young adults traveling in the southbound vehicle also suffered injuries while heading to a wedding. One child suffered significant head injuries and was first taken to UPMC Williamsport for stabilization before being flown to Geisinger Danville. Another child suffered an arm injury, while the three occupants of the other vehicle had minor to moderate injuries. One person may have needed surgery.
Bystanders removed several victims from the vehicles before trained responders arrived. Fire officials said moving injured people unnecessarily can worsen possible neck, back, or spinal injuries unless there is an immediate danger, such as a vehicle fire. The roadway remained closed for roughly two to three hours while crews cleared the scene.
An update on the condition of those injured was not immediately available. The incident remains under review as officials work to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
