How Right-of-Way Conflicts Lead to Intersection Crashes
Intersection crashes often happen when drivers misjudge timing while entering or crossing a roadway. These situations can develop quickly, especially on highways where vehicles travel at higher speeds. Even a short delay in reaction time can lead to a serious impact.
Drivers approaching intersections are expected to yield to oncoming traffic when required. Failing to do so can place both vehicles at risk, particularly when visibility is limited or traffic is moving steadily. Clear judgment and patience are key in these moments.
Road design and traffic flow can also affect how these crashes unfold. Factors like signage, speed limits, and driver awareness all influence how safely vehicles move through intersections. Careful attention to these crossing points can help reduce the likelihood of severe accidents.
