St. Charles, MO (January 21, 2026) – A woman was injured late on Tuesday morning in a serious two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of MO-N and Duello Rd in St. Charles County.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident happened at approximately 11:35 a.m. on January 20. A 2023 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by a 31-year-old female from St. Louis, was traveling southbound when it crossed into opposing lanes on MO-N. At that point, the vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by a 2012 Ford Fusion that was heading westbound.
Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by Superior Towing. The male driver of the Ford Fusion, a 26-year-old also from St. Louis, was confirmed to have been wearing a safety device and was not reported injured.
The driver of the Chevrolet Blazer suffered injuries in the crash. Emergency personnel from the St. Charles County Ambulance District arrived promptly and transported the woman to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis for treatment.
Authorities, including Cpl. T.N. Ziegler and Trooper M.S. Ogborn responded to the scene and are continuing to investigate the factors that led to the southbound vehicle entering opposing traffic lanes.
