Our condolences go out to the family of Jessica Cannatella.
Why Seat Belts and Road Discipline Matter in Head-On Crashes
Head-on collisions are among the most dangerous types of crashes, often resulting in severe injuries or fatalities due to the combined force of impact. Seat belts significantly reduce the risk of being ejected or seriously injured, particularly when vehicles collide at high speeds.
Driver impairment, crossing center lines, and distracted driving are common factors in these crashes. Protective measures like seat belts, careful lane discipline, and sober driving are critical to preventing deadly outcomes. Emergency responders rely on both road safety and rapid medical care to manage injuries when these incidents occur.
