Stanislaus County, CA (January 18, 2026) – A hit-and-run collision involving injuries was reported late Friday night along State Route 132 just west of Hazel Dean Road in Stanislaus County.
Medics and fire personnel responded to the scene after emergency dispatchers received reports of a solo-vehicle crash around 11:38 p.m. on January 17. According to California Highway Patrol logs, the incident involved a white Duramax pickup truck loaded with two dirt bikes. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on SR-132, leaving behind signs of impairment, including open beer cans and a left-behind passenger.
American Medical Response (AMR) and fire crews were notified and dispatched to provide medical assistance to the injured parties. At least one individual sustained injuries in the collision, though the exact nature and extent of those injuries have not been confirmed.
Authorities are investigating the incident as a felony hit-and-run. The pickup truck reportedly fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. Investigators from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office and CHP are working together to track down the suspect vehicle.
