Struthers, OH (January 15, 2026) – Slippery road conditions were likely a contributing factor in a two-car crash that left one person injured overnight in Struthers, according to local police.
The accident occurred shortly after midnight Thursday when a vehicle traveling along Walton St lost traction and collided with another car at the intersection with State St. Responding officers arrived on scene to find both vehicles damaged and one individual in need of medical attention.
Emergency medical personnel transported the driver of the second vehicle to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment. The extent of the injuries has not yet been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident but believe icy or slick road surfaces played a role in the crash.
We hope for a smooth and complete recovery for the injured individual and urge all drivers to exercise caution in winter conditions.
