Suffolk, VA (January 23, 2026) – A man sustained severe injuries following an ATV accident on Tuesday afternoon near Enterprise Dr in Suffolk, prompting a major emergency response and consideration for air medical transport due to the extent of trauma.
The incident took place around 1:36 PM on January 20. Emergency units, including Engine 4, Ladder 16, EMS 2, Battalion 2, and Medic 7, were dispatched to the scene after reports of a four-wheeler crash involving a single male rider. Responders found the individual suffering from significant head trauma, including bleeding from the head and ears. Officials noted the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Given the seriousness of his injuries, responders evaluated the need for air transport to a trauma center. The scene was secured as medical personnel provided immediate care and prepared the patient for emergency transport.
