Fraser, MI (August 25, 2026) – A female motorcyclist died after being struck by a fleeing driver on southbound Utica Road near French Creek on Sunday, August 23, according to the Fraser Department of Public Safety. The crash was reported around 3:40 p.m. She was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver fled immediately but was located and arrested a short time later using Flock camera footage. Whether drugs or alcohol played a role has not been determined. The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case to determine whether any charges are warranted.
